TOUR with KASADOR: It’s been a blast playing with the fellas in Kasador for the last month. We’ve made some new friends and we’re looking forward to playing with them again down the road. If you get a chance, check out their self-titled EP in the usual places, or at one of their shows this summer. We’ve got one left: April 21 at the John Street Pub in Arnprior. You can buy tickets to that show here:
CMW PREVIEW: We’re back at our musical home, The Legendary Horseshoe Tavern on Saturday April 22 performing as part of our agency’s Canadian Music Week showcase. This is a truly amazing lineup – Adam Baldwin, Birds Of Bellwoods, The Treble, One Bad Son and The Dead Projectionists are all playing. We’ve put together a Spotify playlist to help get you prepped so you can sing along all night. You can buy tickets here.
2017 INDIGENOUS MUSIC AWARDS NOMINATION: A thrill to be nominated for Rock Album Of The Year at this year’s IMA’s along with The Deeds, The Bloodshots, Kristi Lane Sinclair and Digawolf. So many great musicians are nominated – head over to the IMA website and get to know some of the amazing Indigenous talent making music across Canada.
NEW SINGLE & VIDEO: CHEMICAL LOW
Chemical Low was released on streaming services on March 24th, 2017. You can see the video in Quebec on Musique Plus, or right here on YouTube. This version is a remixed version of the one that appears on Desert Star. The bones are the same, but we’ve added some ear candy.
SUMMER DATES: Lots of action happening at JTB HQ – we’ll be announcing more summer shows over the coming weeks. Stay tuned!
Big thanks to everyone who has helped get the band on the road this spring and summer. Without the support of the Ontario Media Development Corporation, Canada Council For The Arts, Cameron’s Brewing, All Natural Music, the amazing people at our label Aporia, D’Addario this tour wouldn’t have been possible. And a big high-five to our crew who make our lives easier on the road and deliver us safely to and from each show.
